Joe Brown‘s has been a staple of Llanberis since 1966 with their nearby Capel Curig store opening a few years later. Started by the famous mountaineer and climber of the same name, it’s now owned by a small, independent company who run it alongside their Lake District outdoor shop but the name still lives on.
